In-construction venue Magazine London has released a fly-through video, depicting what the finished product will look like from the inside.

Magazine is the latest venture from Venue Lab, the London-based group behind Printworks, Dock X and Exhibition London. It is situated on the Greenwich Peninsula, directly next to The O2 Arena.

The venue is set for completion in July 2019, and is taking bookings now for events from 1 September onwards. Magazine can host concerts, conferences and more in a flexible, industrial-style space.

It is Venue Lab’s first project completed from the ground up, after numerous projects renovating existing spaces into vibrant event venues. Losberger De Boer have been managing the build project.

Alex Sprogis, Associate Architect for Nissen Richards Studio, said: “When planning the build, we were very inspired by the industrial heritage of Greenwich Peninsula. This led us to an industrial palette of materials, that are very simple and contemporary.”

Joana Quintino Ruffle, sales and event manager, Venue Lab, said: “The building is progressing really well, we have seen it grow from week to week. It’s an exciting time to bring people down to the site.”
