Creative Technology starts 24-hour news channel

Creative Technology (CT) UK and Spain delivered a 24-hour news channel Mobile World Live TV (MWLTV) at GSMA.

The channel provides continuous coverage to remote and local delegates from a central news and information hub at the event. The project involved collaboration between CT’s UK and Spain-based teams that allowed for onsite footage to be transmitted to off-site attendees.

Hopin launches free plan - an interview with Anthony Kennada

Hopin acquires events marketing platform

Event management platform Hopin has acquired Attendify, an events management suite, at its hybrid event Illuminate.

Cumbria launches adventure guide

Cumbria Tourism has teamed up with Event Guides Ltd to create an interactive digital guide, dubbed the ‘Experiences Adventure Guide’.

The launch of the guide is part of the ‘The Perfect Place To Be’ recovery marketing campaign. It aims to provide people of all ages the inspiration to try new activities across Cumbria.

Conference News is partnering with video conferencing service BlueJeans, to deliver the ‘In-person events versus the reality of events today’ webinar on 30 June 2021.

The webinar, which kicks off at 10am, will explore how the events industry will change post-pandemic, specifically where digital events will fit in once shows are able to return to a live format.

VivaTech investing in hybrid format

Tech and startup event VivaTech welcomed 140,000 visitors on 16-19 June in Paris. Of its visitors 114,000 were digital attendees on its paid platform and 26,000 were in-person.

Partnering with B2B marketing solution inwink, the show also played host to 400 speakers and 1,400 exhibitors at the hybrid event.
