Winners announced at the Hire Space Awards
On Wednesday 24 October, Hire Space hosted its annual awards ceremony at the Museum of London.
Comedian Mark Dolan, known for his work on Balls of Steel, hosted a glamorous celebration in the Sackler Galleries for 260 leading event industry professionals.
The evening built on the success of the inaugural event last year, celebrating the very best the industry has to offer with awards in four categories.
Hire Space co-founder and COO Edward Poland said: “It’s been fantastic to see so many event professionals out in force at the Hire Space awards, and we’re delighted for the venues and events organisers who have won this year. The Museum of London put on a brilliant show for us and we can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store.”
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception as they walked through the Museum of London’s galleries that celebrate the history of the city. Alongside canapes and champagne, guests were treated to unique cocktail experiences including edible gin & tonics and inhalable mojitos from Smith & Sinclair, and expertly mixed cocktails from Underground Spirits.
Hire Space received over 300 submissions from both venues and events professionals, including nominees for ‘Unsung Hero’ which gives teams an opportunity to recognise some of their hardest working members. The full list of winners is below:
