SITE adds new head of events to leadership team

Following the recent appointments of Didier Scaillet as CEO and Pádraic Gilligan as chief marketing officer, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has announced that Tina Gaccetta (pictured) will join the leadership team as head of events effective 1 March.

In this new position for the association, Gaccetta will be responsible for both strategy and execution of events hosted by SITE and the SITE Foundation.

“Tina is an industry veteran and attracting her says a lot about our strong brand and commitment to excellence. Her vast industry knowledge, expertise and global experience will help SITE and the SITE Foundation raise our events to new heights from a design and execution standpoint,” said SITE CEO Didier Scaillet.

Gaccetta is a former senior travel director for Carlson Marketing Group and has experience of supporting some of the top brands in the technology, automotive, financial and retail sectors with their events and leveraging data analytics to create better event ROI. She was also vice-president client services for One10 Marketing, formerly known as Aimia.

“I’m excited to be joining the SITE leadership team and putting my expertise to work, starting with the fantastic SITE and Foundation events scheduled for 2018 and beyond,” Gaccetta said.

SITE has grown to nearly 2,200 members in 84 countries with 29 local and regional chapters.
