New head of sales and marketing at College Court
College Court, part of the University of Leicester’s portfolio of venues, has announced some changes to the company’s head of sales and marketing role.
Charlotte Sanders (pictured right) has stepped down and will be replaced by Jo Goddard (pictured left), who is the current business development director. Sanders is leaving the venue to emigrate to Australia, having worked at College Court for five years.
She commented: “I am extremely proud of where we are as a business and although I am incredibly sad to leave this venue, I look forward to new challenges overseas. Over the years my greatest enjoyment has been watching the team develop and grow and to see the amount of awards that we have won, I’m very proud to be part of that.
“I am extremely happy that Jo will be taking the reins, she has a wealth of knowledge, is well respected and will take the role to new heights. I wish her and College Court the very best for the future.”
Goddard has also worked at College Court for five years. She commented: “I am incredibly excited to be moving into the role of head of sales and marketing for College Court and Leicester Conferences. I have the privilege of working alongside some of the most passionate and dedicated industry professionals, and am very proud of the achievements our portfolio has made to date.”
Some of College Court’s highlights from the previous five years include: winning best national customer service at the Academic Venue Awards 2017, winning hotel of the year in 2016 and winning building of the year when it opened in 2013.
