The Meeting Pod Company appoints Harper James to deliver legal services
Commercial furniture upstart The Meeting Pod Company has appointed national law firm Harper James to carry out its legal services, following a period of rapid growth and expansion for the firm.
The Meeting Pod Company was founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Mike Dalloz, and offer a range of indoor and outdoor ‘meeting pods’. They are an alternative to a traditional meeting room, with dynamic modular designs and acoustic foam interiors.
The business has now subscribed to Harper James’ monthly legal subscription Enterprise, which allows easy access to ongoing legal support from experienced solicitors, without incurring the high costs usually associated with using a law firm.
CEO Mike Dalloz said: “The idea for The Meeting Pod Company came about in 2015 when I was struggling to find suitable private meeting space furniture for my open plan offices. There was just nothing available on the market.
“Our meeting pods are feeding a change in the way office environments work…It was the explosion in sales that prompted us to explore further investment to expand our manufacturing facilities and take the business internationally. At this point we approached Harper James.”
Harper James CEO Toby Harper commented: “I have always worked with, or on behalf of, market disruptive companies like The Meeting Pod Co, and I wanted to reflect how those business operate in our own approach to providing legal services.
“Our Enterprise legal subscription provides a solution to those businesses who are looking for a cost-effective, easily accessible means of putting the legal support they need in place.”
