Manchester attracts event buyers with showcase

Event industry professionals are being given the chance to experience Manchester’s hospitality on a tour of the city’s venues and event spaces this autumn.

Hosted jointly by Liz Taylor, CEO of the Taylor Lynn Corporation and Manchester Convention Bureau, part of Marketing Manchester, this free buyer’s experience will showcase Manchester’s venues from 7-8 October.

The itinerary begins at 6.30pm on 7 October, with a champagne reception at the Midland Hotel, followed by a night of dining and entertainment at Escape to Freight Island with participating venue hosts.

On day two, guests will be split into a choice of two bus tours. Venue partners include the 23,000sqm Manchester Central and Emirates Old Trafford, which have hosted conventions, association events and conferences.
