Liz Taylor, CEO, Taylor Lynn Corporation, said: “Manchester is an exciting and vibrant city. Developments in the last few years has seen the scope and quality of our venues soar, with an eclectic mix of high-quality branded hotels to unique, quirky independent accommodation. In addition, the range of larger event spaces is exceptional, bringing both the scale, the technology and operational experience to deliver world-class conventions and exhibitions."

She added: “After a challenging 18 months for the industry, TLC is optimistic and the business future is strong, with a resurgence in event demand. Working with Manchester Convention Bureau, we will highlight the unique venues, suppliers and incredible opportunities for conference and event buyers to stage their business events in our region.”

Sheona Southern, managing director at Marketing Manchester, said: “Business visits and events is an integral contributor to the economy in Greater Manchester – it was worth £862m annually before Covid-19 and last year our Convention Bureau secured over £35m in business for the region over the next four years. In a sector that continues to face considerable challenges we are delighted to be working in partnership with TLC and our partners to showcase Greater Manchester’s conference offer whilst reassuring conference organisers that the region is a safe place to meet and do business."
