ICCA calls for proposals to host its 2021 Annual Conference

The ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter has opened submissions for venues to bid to host its 2021 Annual Conference.

A request for proposal document has been released, which venues can use to submit a proposal to host the event. Submissions will be open until 25 January 2019.

The ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter has 72 members, which recently gathered in Belfast in March for the 2018 Annual Conference. It saw keynotes from members of VisitBritain, The Right Solution, and international association speakers.

The Annual Conference attracts between 80 to 100 delegates, representing some of the major players in the conference and events industry. They include conference venues, convention bureaux, hotels, technology suppliers, consultant and more.

Host cities are expected to provide negotiated room rates for hotels within walking distance to the venue, as well as an online booking system to coordinate delegate accommodation and recommendations for sponsors to host a speakers dinner.

A decision will be made by the Committee and announced at the ICCA UK & Ireland Annual Conference in Harrogate which will be held on 27th and 28th March 2019.
