Hire Space Awards shortlist announced
Hire Space, a venue-finding platform for the events industry, has today revealed the shortlisted venues and event organisers for its Hire Space Awards. The winners will be announced during a ceremony held on 17 October 2019 at the National Gallery, London.
The Hire Space Awards are designed to celebrate the best of the events industry and bring together representatives from the UK’s top venues with event buyers to network, share best practice, highlight progress and celebrate success.
The four award categories, Superstar event organiser, Modern venue marketing, Forward-thinking venues, and Most popular venue, each have sub-categories that will award a total of 15 venues and event bookers for their efforts in marketing, sustainability, technological advancements and for delivering an impeccable service.
Ed Poland, co-founder and COO of Hire Space, said: “The Awards recognise and reward hard-working and innovative venues and event bookers from across the UK. The ones shortlisted have demonstrated real commitment to brilliance in a number of areas, so we’re looking forward to celebrating their outstanding work and services in October.”
Poland added: “We are grateful to our partners, eventsforce, London Filmed, Peyton Events, The National Gallery, Vinyl Impression and Yahire, for helping us to create what I am sure will be another memorable event this year.”
Guests at the awards ceremony will enjoy a drinks reception and a three-course dinner created by Peyton Events, amongst the prestigious paintings of the National Gallery, while networking with peers and listening to live entertainment throughout the evening.
The winners will be selected by a panel of judges, formed of the industry’s brightest and most experienced influencers from professional backgrounds, including associations, corporates and agencies. For the event organisers categories, judges include Will Gonzaga, Head of Events at The Curtain Hotel & Members’ Club and Olivia Parrott, wedding and private events sales & marketing at RSA House. Judges that will determine the winning venues include Virginia Figuero, events lead at Bupa; and Amanda Thurlow, member engagement manager at association of Chartered Certified Accountants, amongst many more.
