Hilton London Heathrow launches new sustainable delegate package

Hilton London Heathrow Airport has launched ‘Meet with Purpose’, a new range of delegate packages incorporating a sustainable, nutritious menu with personalised exercise programmes.

Drawing from healthy dining trends with a focus on sustainability, the ‘Meet with Purpose’ offering provides menus containing food which is locally sourced, as well as options with lower meat content.

Guests booking one of the 15 fully equipped business suites can choose from several menus designed by the hotel’s Executive Chef Phillip Clarke.

Increasing the use of plant-based proteins and vegetarian options, the hotel has also introduced a brand-new vegan menu.

Chef Phillip Clarke says: “Making the right decision at lunch can boost energy levels for the entire afternoon. Rather than providing solely sandwiches, we are incorporating superfoods and energisers rich in protein and antioxidants to stimulate brain power and aid vitality.

“Adding couscous or grains and seeds which release carbohydrates throughout the afternoon will help increase motivation and productivity. We’re also encouraging guests to drink plenty of water and reduce tea and coffee consumption.”

To keep delegates invigorated mentally and physically, Hilton London Heathrow Airport encourages guests to enjoy their health club’s new stress-relieving sessions during breaks; exercise energisers tailored per team member to boost energy and spark creative thinking.

Harry Kirby, LivingWell Health Club manager said: “Getting everybody moving and exercising is a great way to improve group interaction and prevent the afternoon slump.

“Guests can choose gentle team building exercises, or something a little more challenging such as a low impact fitness class or a 30-minute intense boot camp, run by one of our qualified fitness instructors.”
