Gloucester Rugby receives high interest in event bookings

Gloucester Rugby has received a high level of confirmations from September onwards for events. Clients have chosen the stadium due to its venue car-parking, location and safety measures.

Its new business, which includes bookings from finance, pharmaceutical, emergency services, construction and the local authority, meets government and venue policies on social distancing.

Gloucester Rugby is also working with the local authority to arrange a job fair in the Autumn. The job fair will require ongoing logistics to maintain legal attendance levels.

Angela Sanders, head of venue sales, Gloucester Rugby, said: “We are seeing a significant number of confirmations from clients who see us as a safe alternative to many other venues.

“In particular, they appreciate our onsite parking, allowing delegates to avoid public transport as well as our robust policies, thermal scans and dedication to attendee safety. The nature and layout of the stadium means we also have sufficient space to ensure the safe movement and flow of delegates during their time with us.”

Sanders added: “Our priority is attendee safety, which is why we have introduced a raft of new policies and procedures that go above and beyond the measures currently recommended by government. From arrival and departure to capacities and catering we have considered the safety of every part of our events.”
