Final countdown to EventLAB 2018!
Hire Space will bring together top speakers and thinkers from across the events industry and beyond, alongside over 1,000 industry professionals when it hosts EventLAB at the Barbican, London, 23-24 October.
Building on the success of the inaugural EventLAB show in 2017, Hire Space will once again deliver a show that offers the events world the opportunity to inspire, share knowledge, and develop their careers.
EventLAB is bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry to discuss the issues that are shaping the modern events world. Highlights include, Victoria Archbold, director of events and sponsorship at Hearst UK discussing the importance of brand values, and Kelvin Newman, founder of phenomenally successful marketing expo BrightonSEO, lifting the lid on how to sell out your event in minutes.
On day two, Maya Dillon, AI Specialist at Microsoft, will take to the Conference Stage to discuss the myths and realities of artificial intelligence with Charles Arthur, freelance journalist and former technology editor at The Guardian.
Alongside talks and panel discussions, delegates will have the chance to learn and develop their skills through CPD-certified workshops and drop-in sessions. New ‘Back 2 Basics’ sessions will encourage attendees to ask our experts anything around the topics of SEO; Designing an Event Concept that Maximises ROI; Negotiation Technique; and Event Technology.
With 40 exhibitors in the Barbican’s tropical conservatory, delegates will meet some of the best venues and suppliers in a truly unique setting, including the Nobu Hotel, Altitude, East Wintergarden and the Science Museum, who will be showcasing their new Illuminate space.
Delegates will be entertained by a treasure hunt from Wild Goose, a virtual reality experience from WizDish, a relaxing massage from Urban Massage, ice carving with Icebox and more. A library will also be provided by LID Publishing and food installations include Chilly Katz hot dogs and Bears Ice Cream.
The event is free for those who book venues on behalf of their company. SUppliers pay a small fee. Visitors can register through the EventLAB Registration Portal.
