EventLAB goes hybrid in 2021
Hire Space’s flagship show, EventLAB, returns this year with a renewed focus on innovation in the post-pandemic landscape.
The event, which bills itself as one of the industry’s first fully hybrid shows, will take place virtually and in-person on 24 November. With only 250 tickets available for the in-person sessions, situated at Central Hall Westminster, demand for tickets is expected to be higher than usual this year.
Edward Poland, co-founder of Hire Space said: “It is a time of great change in the events world, and it’s vital that we collaborate, communicate and learn from experiences.
“We're delighted to be back with a rostra of incredible speakers and high quality educational content for professional events organisers, and to be able to offer a virtual element through Arena to those unable to attend in person. EventLAB is back, it’s hybrid, and we can't wait.”
EventLAB 2021’s line-up features 13 sessions, hosted by over twenty key figures in the industry, including: Simon Burton, co-founder and director of Virtual Events Institute; Mark Bannister, technical director of COP26; Lauralee Whyte, founder of Spectrum Speakers and Entertainers; and Shonali Devereaux, co-founder of Diverse Speaker Bureau.
The event, delivered with AV from White Light Ltd and branding supplied by B2 Live Events, will include online activities and livestreams for virtual attendees to interact with the live experience.
