EVCOM names DRPG as headline sponsor for 2022 Clarion Awards

Creative communications agency DRPG has been confirmed as the headline sponsor at this year’s Clarion awards, organised by EVCOM.

The annual Clarion awards celebrates the best cause-driven work in the live-events, experiential and video sectors. Award entries must show excellence and impact within their work to be considered.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Dale Parmenter (pictured right), CEO of DRPG, said: “It’s easy to get caught up in the return of live events, but we need to remember what we have learned over the past two years to get to this point.

"The Clarion awards provides us with a poignant reminder and celebration of all the great projects and initiatives achieved in the tumultuous period that our events and creative industries have been through."

The sponsorship comes after the group signed up to the pledge for Net-Zero Events by 2050 during COP26 in 2021, as well as announcing a goal of becoming a Net-Zero business by 2025.

Parmenter added: “As an agency who are well accredited when it comes to supporting local communities, internal teams and aligning our output towards the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Goals, ISO14001 and 20211, we are also working towards B-Corp and waiting to hear if we have achieved the Queens award for sustainable growth. We understand our crucial responsibility in guiding corporate clients in this direction too."
