DRPG receives Queen's Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development
Global creative communications group, DRPG has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.
DRPG is the first in its field to achieve the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development; it is one of 33 enterprises to be recognised in the environmental and social classification this year.
This announcement follows the group signing the ‘Net Zero Carbon Events’ pledge at COP26 in 2021, joining Ad Net Zero, and declaring a personal business goal of being Net Zero by 2025.
Commenting on the news, Dale Parmenter, CEO, DRPG, said: “Winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development, means so much to everyone at DRPG. We have been on an incredible sustainability journey for over 15 years, and have collected many awards and accreditations for our approach; so being awarded with the Queen’s Award is the icing on the cake.
“To say we do it is one thing, to be officially recognised is something else. It’s the only award that takes a holistic view of sustainability across an organisation, and this is why it's so important to us, as sustainability now sits as the umbrella under which everything is connected at DRPG”.
