Cvent has revealed the agenda for its annual conference, Cvent CONNECT Europe, taking place from 4-6 October.
The multi-day conference will be hosted as a hybrid event and will offer both in-person and virtual experiences. The in-person event will be hosted at the InterContinental London – The O2, and the Cvent Attendee Hub will provide an immersive online experience for those attending remotely.
Cvent will also host an in-person experience in Germany on 5 October at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel.
For the 2022 programme, new elements have been added including:
1) The Leadership Summit – an invitation only session. Eventprofs will share their experiences and discuss unique ways of working to maximise business impact. It will also a forum for industry associations to discuss key issues including open conversations on diversity, equity and inclusion.
2) The Cvent Excellence Awards – will recognise organisations and hotels that use technology to deliver engaging experiences. The in-person awards ceremony will also be broadcast live to a virtual audience across Europe.
Conference agenda
A Cvent Academy Training Workshop will take place on 4 October. The workshop will include CMP-accredited immersive classroom-style training and networking tailored to active Cvent users.
There will also be various sessions focused on industry trends, event best practices and developments in MICE and hospitality technology.
Sessions include: ‘Shaping the Future of Event Technology’, ‘How to Activate the Goodness of Your Event Beyond its Live Date’, ‘How to Foster a Culture of Inclusion and Allyship’, ‘Track Your Sustainability Goals: Understanding the Impact of Your Events’, ‘Recovery in Process: A Look at MICE and Corporate Travel Sourcing Trends’ and ‘CVBs and MICE Business: Destinations’ Role in the Recovery’.
Across the three days, in-person attendees will have multiple face-to-face networking opportunities throughout the conference as well as evening events to connect with their peers, while virtual attendees can join roundtable discussions with other attendees in real-time.
