CN Agency Awards welcomes additional judges
Additional judges for the 2020 CN Agency Awards have been confirmed. Hatty Grant from the British Society of Echocardiography, Jayne Scott from Nucleus Financial and Joanna Powel from MacMillian Cancer Support will also assess the nominations across multiple categories.
Hatty Grant, marketing and events officer, British Society of Echocardiography
Grant is the marketing and events officer for the British Society of Echocardiography, a small association with just five members of staff.
In a team of one for events, marketing and IT, she has spent 2019 planning the launch of a new website and an annual conference for 1000 guests.
Grant studied International Events Management at Brighton before joining the Royal Society of Medicine in 2015. After progressing to assistant events team manager, she moved to the British Society of Echocardiography in 2018.
Grant was also one of the Conference News 30 Under Thirty in 2017 and 2019.
Jayne Scott, head of events, Nucleus Financial
Scott is head of events for Nucleus Financial where she leads a team of event professionals who delivers events for the Nucleus user community around the UK, alongside creative staff events.
She has 17 years’ experience working in and leading in-house event teams within financial services.
Scott has delivered a variety of events ranging from sponsorship activation at the 2012 Olympics to Prime Ministerial visits alongside roadshows, conferences and dinners.
Joanna Powel, strategic events manager, MacMillan Cancer Support
Powel is an events manager with over fifteen years’ experience in the conference and events industry, having worked on events in several different industries both in the UK and internationally.
In her current role, she leads a team who aims to deliver an engaging programme of events, including a range of conferences, networking events, exhibitions and awards for Macmillan professionals, volunteers and staff.
Powel provides the strategic direction for the development of events which support the charity’s aims, alongside ensuring that events are run efficiently.
She is also a member of the ABPCO Executive Board and helps facilitate conversation, knowledge sharing and collaboration between its members.
