CityCo launches new venue at Lloyd’s House, Manchester

Manchester city centre management company, CityCo, has launched three event and meeting spaces at its new offices in Lloyd’s House. 

Located in the heart of the city on the top floor of Lloyd’s House and overlooking Manchester Town Hall, the new spaces offer meetings and events space for up to 80 people.

Lloyd’s House has a unique story to tell. Designed in 1867, the site was originally home to the Manchester Shipping Office and Packing Company Ltd and an integral part of the city’s cotton trade industry.




The meeting rooms for hire are:

The Shipping Office

A 1,130 sq. ft. room filled with natural light and heritage features. Overlooking Manchester Town Hall the room has capacity for 80 seated theatre style. Full Day rate is £800. 

The Cotton Room

A 280 sq. ft. room with a pitched ceiling, it seats 11 boardroom style.

Full Day rate is £350 and an hourly rate of £50 is available.

The Sorting Room

This 190 sq. ft. room with heritage features seats 12 boardroom style.

And is charged at the same rate as The Cotton Room.




CityCo also offers catering options, including classic British bites created by Manchester’s famous Chop House Group.
