Champions partners with ITV to promote awards

Brand agency Champions, based in Nottinghamshire, have formed a new partnership with ITV.

The agency will benefit from a series of on-screen advertisements to promote its business awards across the East and West Midlands. ITV will in return headline five of these awards.

The five awards are expected to draw in a total of 4,000 attendees, and ITV hopes to demonstrate it supportfor small and medium sized business across the Midlands with this new partnership.

The first awards will be the Leicester Mercury Business Awards on 11 April, where other headline sponsors include Mazars, De Montfort University and Freeths.

John Hayes, CEO of Champions, explained the value and impact this engagement has for his business: “Each week, ITV reaches 5.5 million adults, so forming a partnership with the broadcaster opens us up to an exponential audience.

“We have been managing business awards up and down the country for many years and are always looking for ways to promote them to a wider audience. We have high hopes that our relationship with ITV will be a catalyst in raising the profile of each of these awards, and of course, Champions as a whole.”
