BVEP ‘delighted’ with The Business of Events programme

The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) has said it is ‘delighted’ with the success of its ongoing The Business of Events Programme.

TBOE is a series of independent, cross-sector events created in partnership with VisitBritain to bring senior events industry figures together across the UK. A number of Ministers, including Michael Ellis MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Members of Parliament and other senior government officials, are due to attend the events.

The programme continues next week, 25-26 October, with the PCMA London Knowledge Exchange, Senior Leadership Reception, Senior Leaders Dinner and Senior Leadership Forum.

Michael Hirst OBE, chair of the BVEP, said: “The Business of Events clearly demonstrates the industry is keen to show it is ready to have a pivotal role in Britain’s future economic success.

“The use of events to showcase Britain’s trade opportunities and attract more international visitors to Britain will be a strong part of the focus of the programme. The trade and professional associations that make up the BVEP are delighted to support this welcome and important initiative”.
