The Business of Events reveals new event dates

The Business of Events (TBOE) has announced that its London and Scotland events, which were postponed due to the General Election, will now take place on 17 and 24 March 2020 respectively.

The TBOE Senior Leadership Forum and Reception will now take place on 17 March at The Mermaid London.

It will be followed by a senior leadership dinner at 10–11 Carlton House Terrace, which is home of The British Academy.

The revised date for The Parliamentary Debate will be announced once details of the parliamentary timetable have been released.

The TBOE Scotland will now take place on 24 March at The National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. It will also include a senior leadership summit, ahead of the senior leadership dinner.

In November, more than 90 delegates attended TBOE Wales at ICC Wales in Newport. The event included speakers from the Welsh, UK and Scottish business events sectors.

It also focused on collaboration and encouraged attendees to develop Wales as an international business events destination. Taking place ahead of IBTM World on November 18, the first TBOE Global Policy & Practice Forum was attended by over 40 international destinations, convention bureau, medical associations and policy makers.

The event took place at the Hotel Seventy in Barcelona and focused on developing a policy approach within the global medical and healthcare sectors.
