ACC Liverpool announces six new conference wins
The ACC Liverpool has confirmed a series of six new conference wins over the next five years.
The first is the European Veterinary Dermatology Congress, which will take place in September 2019. In 2020, the venue will host the National Osteoporosis Society and the National Union of Students.
Following these, the ACC will welcome the Local Government Association’s Annual Conference and Exhibition in 2021, and then the European Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO) in 2022.
Finally, the venue will play host to the British Association of Dermatologists in 2023.
ACC Liverpool is home to the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. It celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
ESPO confirmed its event earlier this month, as Liverpool beat Prague to host the congress. It alone will bring 1,800 delegates to the city, and is the largest gathering of its kind in the world.
Ambassador Ray Clarke said: “The ESPO biennial conference is the largest paediatric otorhinolaryngology meeting in the world and we have spent three years working on the bid process to bring it to Liverpool.”
Adrian Evans, assistant director, commented: “The diversity of events, ranging from medical to educational, from local to international, reflects the versatility of our venue, the confidence our clients have in us and the variety of services we offer.”
