Mash Media partners with EVNTe.ch to launch new event tech guide
CN publisher Mash Media has partnered with EVNTe.ch to launch the Everything Event Tech Guide, which will be launched with a series of event technology awards at International Confex 2021.
With the coronavirus pandemic affecting professional events worldwide, many event organisers have had to pivot to virtual events, and rely heavily on event technology to deliver a great attendee experience.
Finding the right platforms to not only deliver an event and engage the audience but monetize it can be difficult, so the guide has been created to offer a user friendly and relatable tool to assist in making the decision of which tech platform to partner with. It is measured with case study examples and testimonials from real planners.
Jack Geddes, founder of EVNTe.ch, commented: “Many event organisers are confused about event technology and how it can help their business. With event technology, there is often too much noise and marketing buzzwords used, and it can be genuinely difficult to sift through the hundreds of providers out there, to find the right platforms that will enhance the event experience of attendees.
“Our goal at EVNTe.ch is to help event organisers of all sizes get clarity on what suits their needs, and acknowledge the platforms which are genuinely creating innovative and exciting solutions.”
The Everything Event Tech Guide will cover all segments of event technology, from registration platforms to event apps, to post-event surveys. The free guide will take into account feedback from users and organisers as well as industry experts and trends. It will be available online and distributed to Confex 2021 attendees.
To be launched at International Confex next year, the Mash Media-EVNTe.ch partnership will produce the Everything Event Tech Guide and a series of awards covering a wide spectrum of event technology available on the market. The award ceremony will be held during Confex 2021, and will be free for an invite only guest list of event organisers to attend. It is also free for for event technology companies to apply.
Duncan Custerson, Event Director of International Confex, Mash Media, commented: “Event technology offers all kinds of exciting extensions to the Live event as well as the ability to operate fully virtually. With the coronavirus changing our landscape we need to help each other by sharing experience and what I like about this guide is that it aims to find the platforms that are offering new business models to event organizers by highlighting successful solutions to unique requirements in a language accessible to all - Ultimately I’m all for any helpful assets to help organizers through these difficult times.
“We are delighted to be partnering EVNTe.ch on this project’’
