The Publishing Show announces Lux films as video production partner

The Publishing Show, a two-day face-to-face event organised by Mash Media, has announced a partnership with independent filmmakers Lux Films.

The UK-based company offers support to brands on an international scale, with video production experience from The Olympics, Glastonbury Festival, London Fashion Week and international arena tours.

The upcoming conference and exhibition at ExCeL London, which unites professionals in publishing and the media, will take place on 1-2 September.

Capita Travel and Events unites brands

Capita Travel and Events and NYS have consolidated to form a new brand, Agiito.

Agiito aims to be a UK specialist in managing travel, meetings and (virtual, hybrid and live) events, that can also work on a global scale.

Broadway house expands events space

Make Venues has opened a new 238sqm of meeting, training and conference space at its Broadway House property in Westminster, London.

The expansion builds upon investment in the facility, which also includes the instillation of hybrid meeting technology across Make Venues’ portfolio.

Roadmap delay would cost live industry £500m

A four-week delay to the Government’s roadmap would cost our peers in the live music sector more than £500m, and put the summer festival season in jeopardy, according to research carried out by umbrella live music industry body LIVE.

It found 65% of festival operators said they will be unable to go ahead with their events if there is a five-week delay to Step 4 of the reopening roadmap beyond 21 June.
