Wildgoose launches new booking platform

Events company Wildgoose has announced the launch of a new team building SaaS and booking platform specifically designed for the hotels and venues market. The agency says the new tech solution will enable hotels or venues to sign up and then offer Wildgoose’s teambuilding onsite in three steps. Clients will be able to book activities directly with Wildgoose and could potentially benefit from up to a 50% lower cost than booking in the conventional way.

The launch of the new platform comes after Wildgoose recently added four new hires to their tech team, giving them full-stack capability in-house, and follows year-on-year growth of 92% in global licensing revenues.

Commenting on the announcement Jonny Edser, founder and managing director of Wildgoose said: “We know that there is a big demand for team activities for clients who are having a meeting, but that most hotel and venue sales teams find teambuilding confusing. There is so much choice and so many things to consider which often means that it is avoided.

“Our product provides a simple and scalable solution which every hotel and venue globally can benefit from, and our new platform solves many issues in one go - it removes the involvement of the hotel/venue sales team because clients are directed to a unique booking page; it earns the hotel/venue a minimum of 30% commission, and the automation of the process allows us to bring the cost down for the end client by up to 50%. This means that the client can reduce the cost of their event, or divert more of their budget to other elements, providing a win-win for all parties. SaaS solutions have revolutionised so many other industries, and we believe this is going to change how people book and enjoy team building solutions.”

The new solution has been designed to simplify the teambuilding booking process for in-house sales teams and operational staff and for end clients who are looking to add an activity onto their meeting or event. With no initial set-up cost involved, participating hotels and venues can expect to enjoy a minimum revenue share of 30% on every team activity booked through the platform.
