Visit Lincoln appoints two new team members

Visit Lincoln, the management organisation for Lincoln, has announced the appointment of Samantha Pover as its business growth and relationship manager alongside Hannah Fisher as its digital marketing executive.

Pover’s new role at the organisation will require her to work with Visit Lincoln’s 260 partners, which make up the visitor economy across Lincolnshire. Fisher will be in charge of Lincoln’s social media and website content.

Mike Timson, CEO, Visit Lincoln, said: “It’s great to have Hannah and Samantha join the team. Their skills and experience will strengthen our destination marketing and they both have a real passion for the city.”

Timson added that the year ahead will see “Visit Lincoln investing in new technology and digital platforms. Consumer habits are changing and therefore our marketing has to change with it.” Fisher’s digital knowledge will support Visit Lincoln with this digital change.

He concluded: “We are funded 100% by businesses joining as partners, therefore the relationship we have with each and every one of them is really important to us.

“In a previous role, Samantha was a partner of Visit Lincoln, so she understands what partners want and how we can work together to grow their business and encourage more people to visit Lincoln.”
