Stadium Experience welcomes two new clubs for conferences & events

Stadium Experience has welcomed two new clubs as members – Northampton Saints Rugby Club and Preston North End Football Club.

Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing consortium which aims to share best practice and promote stadia as venues for meetings, conferences and events.

The two new clubs now brings the total number of members to 60 across the UK and Ireland. Existing members include Manchester United, Burnley, Leeds United, Ipswich Town, West Ham United and more.

Northampton Saints’ stadium, Franklin’s Gardens, can cater for up to 600 delegates at events. The Deepdale Stadium, home to Preston North End, can fit 350 in a theatre-style layout, with a variety of rooms available.

Abigail Dillon, Northampton Saints’ conferencing and events manager, said: “We’re looking forward to sharing best-practice information with other stadiums and building valuable relationships within this industry, as we continue to make Franklin’s Gardens one of the premier multi-purpose conferencing and events locations in the country.”

Debbie Rigney, marketing & PR manager for Stadium Experience, added: “We are thrilled to welcome both Northampton Saints and Preston North End into our association.

“We now have 60 clubs across the UK and Ireland all working together to promote stadia as unique venues for every type of conference, meeting or event.

“The sustained growth in membership demonstrates how our members really do value the sharing of best practice, networking opportunities, promotional activities, as well as recognising the best in the industry at our annual awards.”
