Stadium Experience expands its leadership team
Stadium Experience, a non-profit marketing collaboration of 50 football and rugby clubs across the UK and Ireland, has announced the recruitment of Aimee Richardson as its new development manager.
Richardson joined the events team at Allianz Park, home to Saracens Rugby Club, in July 2019. She will also join the leadership team which meets regularly to discuss the strategic direction of the association, which aims to promote the use of stadium venues for conferences, meetings and events.
Her main focus has been to increase the stadiums exposure online and via social media and to drive new agency business.
Richardson’s previous experience includes working at the O2 Arena with Levy Restaurants and Compass UK & Ireland, Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition at the Kensington Roof Gardens, Individual Restaurant Group and Global Hotel Company, Taj Hotels.
Richardson said: “I’m really excited to be given the opportunity to join the Stadium Experience Leadership Team. It will be great to further represent the world of Rugby and Stadia, to help promote the unique venues Stadium Experience collaborates with.”
Collette Salmon, chair of Stadium Experience, said: “We are delighted to welcome Aimee to join our Leadership Team. Stadium Experience was established over 17 years ago with the aim of sharing best practice and networking focusing purely on the conference and events side of the football stadium business.
“In 2013, we expanded Stadium Experience membership to include rugby venues too. As we continue to grow and develop, it is important we also continue to incorporate rugby representatives and expertise into our Leadership Team too.”
