Smart Live appoints new business development director
Creative event management company Smart Live has announced the appointment of Jennifer O’Higgins to the newly created role of business development director.
Jennifer joins Smart Live from Chelsea Football Club where she spent five years, most recently as senior business development manager.
Jennifer O’Higgins commented: “I’m very excited to join the team at Smart Live. They have an excellent reputation for delivering first class events and I’ve long held them in high esteem. It’s a fantastic opportunity for me to work with a truly creative and innovative team as we deliver against the wider business strategy and leverage the team’s talent and expertise to extend our proposition into new revenue streams.”
Smart is part of Smart Group, a collection of hospitality, catering and event management businesses which hosts, caters and manages over 700 events per year worth in excess of £30 million revenue.
These include international sporting events such as Royal Ascot Village and Wimbledon to corporate and charitable functions including the Sports Industry Awards and Battersea Collars & Coats Ball, as well as Christmas parties for ITV and JP Morgan and conferences for Samsung and Google.
