The Science Gallery launches its new events space with sparkling showcase
London’s newest events space, at the Science Gallery London, has officially opened its doors.
King’s College London’s Science Gallery is located opposite the Shard in London Bridge and boasts spaces to host events ranging from product launches to receptions.
The venue, which is in the heart of the city and features flexible outdoor opportunities, can host up to 500 guests. The event showcase was described as a place where ‘art and science collide’.
It was attended by over 200 event professionals, who were impressed by the atmosphere of both the venue and the launch celebration.
Guests enjoyed themed cocktails inspired by the Autumn season, featuring Sake Apple Fizz and Autumn Daiquiri, canapés and entertainment.
They were also treated to amazing creations from Lick Me I’m Delicious, who provide event installations including liquid nitrogen ice cream, edible bubbles and mist, instant logopops and candyfloss whizzers.
Sternberg Clarke provided entertainment from Organic Jam and added to the contemporary atmosphere with their combined set of live musicians and a DJ. They played and mixed Cafe Del Mar-style house music with percussionists and a saxophonist jamming over the top.
Chelsey Kendall, venue and event manager for Science Gallery London, said: “We’re receiving triple the enquiries we were at the start of the year and the venue has really taken off. It’s so exciting to be able to offer this space, which has so much potential for hosting incredible events.”
