The QEII Centre hosts Global MilSatCom

Westminster venue QEII Centre has announced that it will host the Global MilSatCom, which will take place from 5-7 November.

The three-day event will welcome more than 600 international attendees, from 35 nations. It will offer an overview of how allied partners are working together to maintain and sustain space superiority.

The attendees will include defence agencies, militaries, governments and the satellite comms industry. Dale Butler from SMi Group, organisers of Global MilSatCom, said: “As military data requirements continue to grow, the UK and international space sector – particularly the satellite communications (SATCOM) market has grown exponentially. This important event is a ‘must attend’ meeting for the space industry.

“Global MilSatCom will explore how militaries across the alliance are developing more resilient and secure SATCOM networks, and building greater bandwidth to support future warfighter needs.”

Mark Taylor, chief executive of the QEII Centre, said: “Once again QEII has been chosen as the stage for an event of global significance, and I’m delighted to welcome representatives from around the world to our venue.

“The line-up of speakers includes government and military leaders from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, South Korea, United Kingdom, USA and more – a truly international line-up that we look forward to extending our London welcome to.”
