Le Chalet awarded best new property 2019
Le Chalet, a chalet located in the Chamonix Valley, has been awarded ‘best new property for 2019’ at an awards ceremony, which was held in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
The three-day networking event was attended by ski industry figures and market leaders to celebrate its success. Le Chalet also has partnerships with brands such as Hermes, Ruinart and Big Mountain.
The chalet consists of five floors and its penthouse includes three master suites and nine bedrooms, which are situated throughout the 307 sqm of living space. Each bedroom has a balcony or terrace, which enables guests to overlook the view of Mont Blanc.
Other features of the chalet include a cinema, sauna, gym, indoor swimming pool and a helipad.
The Chamonix Valley is ideal for skiers to access challenging pistes such as Megeve, Verbier and Courmayeur. Le Chalet aims to integrate sustainability into its ethos by using locally sourced ingredients and banning single-use plastic products. It also provides guests with slippers produced from bamboo instead of rubber.
Martin Bromley, general manager, Le Chalet, said it is an "incredible achievement" to win the award and that its staff "should be extremely proud of the part they played in making Le Chalet so impressive.”
Bromley added that Le Chalet is a “contemporary and chic chalet, which is practical yet stylish and meets the modern era. We strive to set new standards of excellence in everything we do, and this award shows we are well on the way to achieving this.
“Le Chalet is perfect for both family holidays and corporate events, and we are delighted that our industry peers share our belief.”
