Edwardian Hotels London hosts inaugural leadership summit

Edwardian Hotels London recently hosted its inaugural MICE leadership summit at The May Fair Hotel.

The event saw industry leader sharing their predictions for the future of the sector, discussing key trends of MICE and leadership engagement.

More than 70 agencies from across the UK attended the summit, which also addressed London’s role in the meeting and events sector, the challenges of accommodating a multigenerational workforce, and catering for changing delegate expectations.

Linda Plant, director of Strategic Relations at Edwardian Hotels London, opened the event followed by observations from Tracy Halliwell, Director of Tourism Conventions & Major Events at London & Partners and James Poulter, Technology Futurist. 

Tracy focused on the positive offerings from the capital and the message that #LondonIsOpen. James discussed the importance of presence in a digitalised world, outlining that whilst technology can enhance a situation the benefits of a face to face meeting, when relevant and needed, is unparalleled.
