East of England Autofest to go ahead in July

No Limits Events & Promotions has confirmed that the East of England Autofest will be going ahead at the East of England Arena and events centre, 3-4 July, with a full lineup of live automotive action.

The event, featuring Modified Nationals and the National Custom, Hot Rod and American Car Show, will include live drifting demonstrations in the Live Action Arena and the Super Bike Stunt Show Arena. It will also feature the Bike Battle Stunt Show, American monster truck rides, two halls of show cars, outdoor car displays, a remote-control drift car track, trade stands, American lowrider cars and a wall of death.

Organisers also said there will be two live entertainment stages running simultaneously. On-site camping is being included using the venue’s permanent toilet and shower blocks, water distribution and electrical hook up.

No Limits Events & Promotions, and the East of England Arena & Events Centre, have said that it may be necessary to change parts of the show to comply with changes in local or national Covid-19 guidelines.

Jason Lunn, venue director at the East of England Arena and Events Centre, said: “We were careful to ensure that Autofest was developed under Step Three regulations and has been unaffected by the [Step Four delay] announcement. East of England Autofest is making great use of the mixture of facilities we have to offer and this show will be a great attraction for anyone who loves modified vehicles.”

Mark Needham of organiser No Limits, said, “We are planning to use most of the space at the East of England Arena, the mix of indoor and outdoor space, internal roadways and hard standing means we can deliver a wide variety of entertainment for everyone.”
