American Express GBT opens up more inventory via Booking.com
American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has expanded its online accommodation programme, now giving companies and business travellers access to two million-plus properties worldwide as a result of GBT opening up more inventory through its partnership with Booking.com.
The expansion will give American Express GBT clients access to special Booking.com Genius rates, which the agency claims will offer savings of at least 10%.
The move follows GBT’s recent launch of its Hotel Re-Shop Expert (HRE), which claims to be able to identify property rate drops and then automatically book a cheaper hotel room.
GBT clients and travellers can use an online booking tool to select from a range of overnight stay options, including major chain and independent hotels, as well as transportation.

It means more choice and convenience for the traveller; more value and improved compliance for the client.”
