Adapt with Arena collaborates with Events at Club Chelsea

The next instalment of the ‘Adapt’ events created by Arena, will take place in collaboration with Events at Club Chelsea on 17 August.

The virtual event will consist of a series of panel discussions, which will assess what is needed to deliver the new attendee experience for in-person events as the Stage 4 opening gets underway.

The first-panel discussion ‘Strategising for the new look in-person event experience’ will aim to cover issues including interpreting the latest Government recommendations for the restart of events, such as what safety and best practice looks like now and will ask what all this means for the attendee experience.

Moderated by Conference News’s digital and community editor Cameron Roberts, panellists will include Clare Melton, global head of events at HIS Markit, IMEX Group’s director of operations Mark Mulligan, and Chelsea Football Club’s meetings and events manager Lucy Adamson.

This will be followed by the ‘Ready for lift off – recommendations from a major event venue’ session, where Chelsea Football Club’s senior event team staff will discuss their experiences of hosting hybrid and in-person events. They will share their learnings from these events and make recommendations for how to successfully relaunch in-person and hybrid events.

Charlotte Pierce, Chelsea Football Club’s head of business development, Philip French director of Peach Productions and Lucy Adamson will all participate.

From 12.35pm, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Arena virtual and hybrid event platform created by HireSpace, and which the Adapt sessions are being hosted on.

The ‘Arena Discovery – Ask an Expert’ session hosted by an Arena expert, will enable delegates to ask questions about how the platform can work for specific events. Attendees will also have the chance to ‘Chat to Chelsea’ representatives and learn more about the London venue.

Delegates can register here.
