Hire Space hot tips: in-style London private dining

It’s easy to feel spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding on the perfect place to celebrate in London. And that’s certainly the case when it comes to private dining rooms. From large functions to intimate dinners to corporate lunches, there is a huge selection of small and large private dining spaces perfect for any occasion you're planning. Hire Space has made it easy with its selection of the best to help you find the perfect venue for your next meeting or special occasion.

Intricately detailed

Albert’s at Beaufort House is the perfect place for your next dining experience. Having recently moved locations to the exclusive King's Road in Chelsea, London, the venue is best described as quintessentially English with sparks of Italian flavour. The venue spans three floors, including an all-day restaurant and bar, a private dining room, and a penthouse Champagne bar.

From the classically styled exterior, through to the intricately detailed interior, the private dining area at Albert’s sets the scene for a night to remember. The flexible spaces are perfect for any private event, big or small, as they can cater for 10 to 100 people for a seated dinner. There is also room for 150 people to stand and enjoy drinks and canapés. All private dining spaces are perfectly designed for all functions - whether they be a corporate event, a special occasion or a party.

Make an entrance

Housed in one of London’s grand Grade-II listed mansions in Belgravia, the modern Japanese restaurant Kouzu, meaning "Composition”, which in total sits up to 80 guests, allows you to really make an entrance with its huge palatial door and elegant design throughout. Founded by Prestige Arts Club and chef Kyoichi Kai of Zuma, who worked for ten years in Japan before moving to London in 1988, the impressive restaurant includes an intimate private dining setting, including a chef's table, with food that will not disappoint.

“Wonderful” sushi is the headline act here, from old-school nigiri to new-style rolls such as negi hamachi (yellowtail, kizami wasabi, aonoriko seaweed, bubu arare seasoning and cucumber). If sushi and sashimi are not for you, the kitchen also delivers excellent tempura, Wagyu beef from the robata grill and specials such as roasted duck breast with pickled kumquat and miso orange sauce.

Understated opulence

Get together in style at the Bloomsbury Hotel, a Grade-II listed building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1928. As part of the Doyle Collection, The Bloomsbury is a luxury hotel situated in the West End near Tottenham Court Road that prides itself on being the perfect pairing of old-world grandeur and contemporary sophistication.

From the minute you’re greeted by one of the smiling doormen and ushered into the Sitting Room, adorned with hand-painted wallpaper, you get a feeling of understated opulence. Each event space is designed to perfectly complement any meeting or special occasion. With excellent access to underground stations and its convenient central location, this hotel is a perfect option for any private dining, wedding and even Christmas celebration.
