In pictures: the EN race day 2018

Exhibition News, CN's sister publication, recently hosted its EN race day, on Wednesday 19 September at Sandown Park in Surrey.

The event provided industry professionals a chance to enjoy the races while getting together for networking, food, and an insightful seminar on private equity, delivered by leading figures.

‘To PE or not to PE’ was hosted by AMR International’s Denzil Rankine moderating a discussion featuring Faversham House CEO Amanda Barnes, CloserStill chairman Phil Soar, Clarion CEO Russell Wilcox, and origination director at Mobeus Equity Jonny Burr.

Among the topics of the panel were what kinds of business are best suited to private equity, what to look for and what to avoid when seeking private equity investment, and some case studies from the panelists extensive experience.

Afterwards, guests filed out onto the trackside stands to place some bets on the day’s horses.
