Events at Stamford Bridge, home to Chelsea Football Club, 22 February hosted an interactive FAM event to celebrate the launch of 1905 Club and its teambuilding offering.

The Chelsea Events team welcomed over 80 corporate planners and agents to the venue’s exclusive Directors’ Lounge for a Champagne reception, before hosting guests for a full behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, as well as the recently refurbished private hire event spaces, including the new 1905 Club, a multi-functional event space.

This was followed by an interactive teambuilding activity in the stadium’s Centenary Hall when teams of up to 10 took part in a Table Top Escape Game, an exhilarating and competitive game which is one of the venue’s new team building bolt-on packages provided by preferred partner Escape Game Events.

Simon Hunter, head of venue and development, commented: “We were delighted to host the Escape Room and 1905 Club FAM event last week and it was a great opportunity both to welcome back existing clients and to introduce new agents and planners to our world-class venue and some of the new bolt-on packages we’ve recently launched. Since the refurbishment of the venue in the Autumn of last year, we’ve been working with preferred partners to create a number of bespoke teambuilding packages, such as our Escape Room offering, as we’ve recognised a real demand for interactive experiences as part of a meetings and events package.”

Following the teams’ hour-long teambuilding experience, guests enjoyed a three-course meal in 1905 Club, provided by on-site global catering partner Levy Restaurant UK; dishes included chicken Caesar salad or asparagus to start, slow cooked 21-day bone-aged English beef or Cornish hake, followed by sticky toffee pudding or Madagascan vanilla bean panna cotta.

Vicki Peerless, group sales manager, Venuefinder commented on the night: “Thank you for inviting us to last week’s event, we had a fabulous time. It was great to catch up and meet other members of your team. We were also very pleased to be in the winning team, thanks for the wonderful prize!”
