Cumbria launches adventure guide
Cumbria Tourism has teamed up with Event Guides Ltd to create an interactive digital guide, dubbed the ‘Experiences Adventure Guide’.
The launch of the guide is part of the ‘The Perfect Place To Be’ recovery marketing campaign. It aims to provide people of all ages the inspiration to try new activities across Cumbria.
Sue Clarke, marketing manager, Cumbria Tourism’s, said: “Our new Experience Adventure Guide has an interactive, film-led format to engage and enthuse potential visitors in a new and attention-grabbing way and we think it’s ideal for capturing the imagination of younger target audiences who will become those all-important repeat visitors of the future.”
John Kinsella, managing director, Event Guides Ltd, said: “Consumers have been swamped with webinars, endless email marketing messages, social clutter and virtual events and whilst there is some great content out there, it is more difficult to stand out and capture their attention.
