CN30 under Thirty 2018: deadline extended!
Conference News is pleased to announce that the deadline for CN30 Under Thirty 2018 has been extended. Due to popular demand, entrants now have until Friday 21 September.
The initiative, running for a second year, aspires to honour the conference and meetings industry’s top young talent.
Those under the age of 30 must be nominated in writing by submitting a 200-word explanation of what they have achieved or have brought to the industry*. An expert judging panel will review submissions before deciding which 30 event professionals make the grade.

The finalists will be invited to an awards and networking evening later in the year, details of which will follow.
The initiative aims to give a platform to the younger members of the conference and meetings industry, highlighting their outstanding achievements and offering them opportunities to learn from each other and leading industry figures.
CN30 under Thirty 2017: who made the grade?
Liz Agostini, publishing director, CN, is keen to continue to shine a spotlight on the industry’s young talent. She said: “The industry is not short of talent, but sometimes those in the early years of their careers can get drowned out in the noise. It’s time that we, as trade press, take these future leaders seriously and give them the appreciation they deserve.
“If you are working for an agency, corporation, association or destination management company and you think you have made an outstanding contribution to the conference or meetings sector, or you know someone else who has, then email us a 200-word outline about it.”
The CN30 Under Thirty is open to event professionals aged 30 or under who have organised an event in the last 12 months. Nominees must be a, or work, in the following sectors:
- Conference or meeting organiser
- Agency (inc. event production, teambuilding, venue sourcing, creative, communications)
