IET London: Savoy Place’s scorcher of a client party
IET London: Savoy Place showcased its events spaces on the hottest day of the year to date, 19 April, with clients and guests invited along for a ‘Bits and Bytes’ celebration.
In 2017 the IET held 1,716 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) events including: AI, cyber security and Fintech events, welcoming robots, drones, astronauts and will.i.am!
Bits and Bytes showcased all things tech, from Savoy Place’s AV capabilities, including a virtual reality tour of the venue’s event spaces, including the Kelvin Lecture Theatre, followed by drinks and food in the Riverside Room, with selfie opportunities, mocktails and powdered G&Ts overlooking the capital from the Johnson Roof Terrace.
The catering team were on hand serving vegan sushi and torched steak. There was also a bug bar featuring dried critters, with a choice of mealworm arancini, locust tacos and black ant & goat’s cheese salad.
